Lilian Chen is COO and cofounder of Bar None Trivia, a business focused on creating fun ways for work-from-home employees to stay connected and engaged with one another.
Chen, who’s worked remotely for years and now manages an entirely remote team, started her company just last summer after she and her cofounder and Harvard Business School classmate Spencer Fertig needed to organize a one-year reunion for their MBA program.
“We turned to one of our favorite activities – bar-style trivia – and invented a virtual version to keep our 90 friends and classmates engaged on Zoom,” Chen said.
